Brutal Bus Brawl: Man Punched on Nottingham Number One Route
A man was left battered and bruised after being punched on board a Nottingham City Transport bus heading from Nottingham city centre to Loughborough. The victim was attacked on the top deck following a dispute, then assaulted again as he got off the bus.
Severe Injuries After Double Assault
The victim needed hospital treatment for a fractured cheekbone and eye socket, along with significant swelling. The violent attack happened late on Saturday, 19 November.
Police Hunt Suspect Captured on CCTV
Officers are investigating and have released CCTV images of a man they want to question about the incident.
“This was a frightening ordeal for the victim and we are determined to track down the person responsible as quickly as possible,” said PC Andrew Finch of Nottinghamshire Police.
“We believe the man pictured may have information to help with our investigation. If you recognise him, please get in touch.”
