Knife attack shocks Southsea car park as victim slashed across the neck
An intense stabbing unfolded at 5.10pm in the Canoe Lake Car Park beside Southsea Model Village, leaving locals shaken.
Knife slashing sparks chaos in Southsea
Ten police cars swarmed the scene as Hampshire Constabulary officers quickly cordoned off the east end of the car park. Witnesses say a car pulled in carrying two men and a woman. The pair of men soon erupted into a heated argument.
One man then shockingly pulled a knife and slashed the other across the neck before speeding off in the vehicle, leaving the victim bleeding on the floor.
Rapid emergency response saves stabbing victim
Paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service rushed to the scene, treating the injured man before racing him to hospital for urgent life-saving care.

“I was extremely scared for my own welfare when I saw the knife. The man looked seriously angry,” said one bystander.
“I was in absolute shock when he swung the knife at his neck. It was very scary to witness – I’ve never seen anything like it and just hope the victim pulls through.”
