Police are appealing for witnesses and CCTV footage after three men carrying suspected weapons were reportedly seen acting suspiciously outside a property near Sevenoaks in the early hours of the morning. The incident happened at around 2.30am on Monday 13 July 2026 in Redmans Lane, near Shoreham, where the trio were seen closely inspecting a property.
Suspects left on foot
Kent Police said the three suspects left the scene on foot shortly after arriving, heading in the direction of Castle Road. Officers are now carrying out enquiries and are asking anyone who may have seen the men or captured them on CCTV to come forward.
Suspect descriptions
The first suspect was described as wearing:
- A white top
- Black shorts
- Reflective trainers
He was carrying a mobile phone with the torch switched on. The second suspect was wearing:
- A black top with a white design on the back
- Black shorts
- Reflective trainers
He was also wearing an item around his neck. The third suspect was described as wearing:
- A white top
- Beige shorts
- Reflective trainers
CCTV appeal
Detectives are particularly keen to hear from residents in the area who have private CCTV or doorbell cameras and are being asked to check any footage recorded around the time of the incident.
