Serious Crash on A271 Near Herstmonceux
A motorcycle and car collided on the A271 Hailsham Road near Herstmonceux on Monday, April 18.
Rider Sustains Serious Injuries
The crash happened at around 8.20pm, between Old Road and Under Road junctions. A 48-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured and rushed to Royal Sussex County Hospital, where he remains in hospital.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Sussex Police are urging anyone who saw the incident or has dashcam footage from the area to come forward. Witnesses can contact police online or call 101, quoting Operation Jackdaw.
