Man Found Dead in Kenton Sparks Police Probe
Police have launched a full investigation after the body of a man was found in Kenton, Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Mystery Surrounds Sudden Death
The alarm was raised around 8.20pm yesterday when the ambulance service reported concerns for a man in his 50s on Brigham Avenue. Officers arrived to find him lying on a grassy patch, but sadly he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives Seek Public Help
Northumbria Police confirmed the death is being treated as unexplained. A spokesperson said: “This is clearly a serious incident that has resulted in a man’s death. We are investigating all angles and need the public’s help to get to the bottom of this.”
They urged anyone who was in the area last night or has any information, no matter how small, to come forward. Police will maintain a presence in the area and encourage concerned residents to speak with officers on duty.
