Massive Warehouse Blaze Engulfs Andover Industrial Estate
Firefighters battled a huge blaze at a two-story warehouse on Andover’s Walworth Industrial Estate. The building, home to a furniture and paint shop, was completely gutted by the flames. The fire has now been extinguished, but crews remain on site.
100 Firefighters Join Forces to Tackle Inferno
Shortly after 10 a.m., multiple emergency calls flooded the HIWFRS Control Room. Firefighters from Hampshire teamed up with colleagues across Dorset, Wiltshire, and Royal Berkshire to fight the fire. At the peak, around 100 firefighters were at the scene, deploying aerial ladder platforms, water carriers, and environmental protection units.
Road Closures as Emergency Services Hold the Line
Thankfully, no injuries have been reported. However, Walworth Road remains closed as emergency services maintain a strong presence. Relief crews from Totton, Ringwood, Romsey, and other neighbouring areas have arrived to replace crews who battled the blaze for hours.

- Bishop’s Waltham, Hartley Wintney, Sutton Scotney, Hamble, Rushmoor, and other locations also sent support
