Drug Deal Turns Deadly in Paston: Man Shot in Head During Robbery Plot

Christopher Pycroft, 40, confessed to plotting with Lewis Hutchinson, 30, to order Class A drugs and then rob the dealer. The plan ended in tragedy on 13 April last year in Crabtree, Paston.

Deal Gone Wrong at Midnight

Victim Mihal Dobre, 29, arrived with his partner around 12:30am to deliver drugs. He stayed in his car under a streetlight when Hutchinson and Pycroft approached from both sides.

Fearing a robbery, Dobre tried to drive off. Hutchinson shot him in the back of the head, killing him instantly.

Justice Served at Peterborough Crown Court

Pycroft admitted conspiracy to commit robbery and was sentenced today to five years and three months at Peterborough Crown Court.

Meanwhile, two others from 123 Way, Skegness, await sentencing for aiding Hutchinson’s escape and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
