London Fire Brigade Ends Automatic Fire Alarm Response During Daytime Hours

A domestic fire incident was reported this morning on Broad Street in Dagenham, leading to an immediate response from the London Fire Brigade (LFB). Smoke signals were observed early in the day, triggering alarm among the local populace.

At precisely 7.24 am, emergency services were notified of the fire, and by 8.07 am, the LFB had managed to subdue the flames. The rapid containment of the blaze prevented any injuries, according to official reports.

Local residents took to social media to express their concerns, posting real-time updates and images of the unfolding situation.

A spokesperson for the LFB delivered a brief statement: “Firefighters tackled a house fire on Broad Street in Dagenham this morning. The majority of the first floor of a two-storey terraced house sustained fire damage. We are thankful to report no casualties.”

Resources from the Dagenham Fire Station, including two fire engines, were deployed to the emergency. The origin of the fire is currently being investigated to prevent future occurrences.
