Van Crashes into Parked Coach in Cheddar – Police Seek Witnesses

Avon & Somerset Police are hunting for witnesses after a serious crash in Cheddar in the early hours of Tuesday, November 14.

Van Smashes Parked Coach on The Hayes

A white Vauxhall Vivaro van slammed into a stationary coach at around 1.20am on The Hayes. Emergency crews rushed to the scene, where both the van’s driver and passenger were taken to hospital with injuries. Their families have been informed.

Scene Cleared and Road Reopened

Collision investigators completed a thorough examination before the van was recovered, allowing The Hayes to reopen just before 11:30am.

Officers Appeal for Dash-Cam Footage and Witnesses

Police want anyone who saw the van moments before the crash, or captured footage on dash-cam, to come forward. Your information could be vital in piecing together what happened.
