Blaze Hits Millionaire’s Row in West London

Eight fire engines and 60 firefighters raced to a fierce flat fire on Warrington Crescent this morning. The London Fire Brigade (LFB) was called at 6.18am to tackle the blaze ripping through a block of flats in one of West London’s poshest areas.

Rescue Drama Unfolds as Smoke Fills Flats

Firefighters from Paddington and nearby stations battled the flames, rescuing nine people wearing breathing apparatus. Four were pulled from the third floor, four from the second, and one from the first. London Ambulance Service swiftly checked them for smoke inhalation.

Another 15 residents made a brave self-evacuation before the fire crews arrived.

Fire Under Control, Cause Still a Mystery

The LFB had the fire under control by 7.40am, but the cause remains unknown and is being investigated.

A brigade spokesman said: “The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Our crews worked hard to ensure everyone was safely evacuated.”
