A 32-year-old woman was fatally stabbed in a Lewisham home, prompting a swift police response. A 38-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the shocking killing on Parbury Road.
Suspect Turns Himself In
At around 4.38am, the man walked into a police station and admitted to harming a woman at the address. Officers rushed to the scene and found the victim dead inside the property.
Investigation Underway, No Wider Threat
The suspect remains in custody on suspicion of murder and was taken to hospital as a precaution. Detective Chief Inspector Matt Webb offered his condolences to the grieving family and reassured locals there is no danger to the public. “We are not looking for anyone else in connection with this case,” he confirmed.
