Public appeal as officers search for missing man believed to be in Bournemouth

Officers are appealing for information from the public as they search for a missing man believed to be in Bournemouth.

Dorset Police received a report at 2.15pm on Saturday 27 January 2024 raising concern for the welfare of Oliver Roberts, aged 29, who was believed to be in the Bournemouth Gardens area.

Enquiries established that Oliver had last been seen at an address in Boscombe on the morning of Saturday 27 January 2024. He also has links to the Alderholt area in East Dorset.

Oliver is described as being of medium build with brown hair and a long brown beard.

Inspector Steve Hughes, of Dorset Police, said: “We are concerned for Oliver’s welfare, and we are very keen to locate him as soon as possible so we can make sure he is all right.

“I would urge anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to please contact us immediately.

“I would also like to make ask Oliver if you see this appeal to please make contact with us or your family and let us know where you are. We just need to check that you are OK.”
