A woman is fighting for her life after a terrifying fall from the cliffs near South Foreland Lighthouse in Kent. The dramatic rescue unfolded on Friday afternoon when emergency crews rushed to the scene following reports of the fall.
Massive Rescue Effort Launched
The Coastguard was alerted around 3:30pm and swiftly deployed a rescue helicopter. Lifeboat teams from Dover, plus Coastguard crews from Deal and Langdon, joined the frantic operation. Specialist Hazardous Area Response Team (HART), air ambulance doctors and paramedics also raced to the rugged coastline to help.
The woman was airlifted from the cliff face and is currently receiving urgent medical treatment. Authorities have yet to release further details on her condition but confirm the situation remains critical.
