Bridgewater Doorman Caught Trying to Meet Underage Girl at Holiday Park
Bridgewater doorman Matthew Russell tried to meet what he believed was a 13-year-old girl at a local holiday park. The man, who works at a nearby nightclub, arranged to meet the girl at the park’s gate after a string of chats and photo exchanges.
Disturbing Messages and Dom Group Invite
Russell even attempted to add the girl to a Dom group and urged her to invite her friends. His actions raised red flags immediately.
Sting Operation Nabs Local Predator
Shane Brannigan, from the campaign group Not of Criminal Element, orchestrated a sting to catch predators like Russell targeting underage children. Following the operation, Avon and Somerset Police arrested Russell and took him in for questioning over multiple offences.
This arrest marks another step in the fight to clear Bridgewater’s streets of dangerous groomers preying on youngsters.
