Dispersal Order Enforced in Barnham to Stop Anti-Social Behaviour

Sussex Police have enforced a dispersal order in Barnham following numerous reports of anti-social behaviour in the area. The 48-hour order, which began at 6pm on Thursday, May 30, grants police the authority to remove individuals from specific areas if they are found engaging in anti-social activities. Those removed and found returning within a designated period could face further legal action.

Recent incidents of anti-social behaviour have been reported at Barnham Railway Station and its surrounding areas, prompting the enforcement of this order. Residents can expect an increased police presence during this time to ensure the order is upheld and to maintain public safety.

Sussex Police encourage the public to report any incidents of anti-social behaviour or crime to aid in their response efforts. Reports can be made online, by calling 101, or by dialling 999 in emergencies.
