A four-year-old child has been hospitalised after falling from a first-floor balcony in Belvedere. The incident occurred on Norman Road near Yarnton Way at around 8:30 PM yesterday, June 18.

Emergency services, including officers from the Metropolitan Police and crews from the London Ambulance Service, were called to the scene. The child was found injured and was promptly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Medical assessments determined that the injuries were non-life-threatening.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police provided the following statement: “On Tuesday, 18 June at 20:30hrs, police were called to Norman Road, Belvedere following reports that a child had fallen from a height. Officers attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service who treated a four-year-old child after they had fallen from a first-floor balcony. The child was taken to a nearby hospital where their injuries were confirmed to be non-life threatening. There were no arrests.”
