Gun Threat Rocks Morrell Avenue – No Injuries
A man in his thirties was threatened with a firearm on Morrell Avenue around 2:50pm on 5 July. Thankfully, no one was hurt in the incident.
Detective Urges Public to Help Catch Armed Suspect
Detective Constable Josephine Cassidy of Oxford CID said: “I understand this firearms incident may be alarming, but fortunately these events are extremely rare. There is no known threat to the wider public.”
She appealed to the public: “If you recognise this man, please get in touch with us immediately. Do not approach him, but call 999.”
