Thugs Threaten Staff and Raid BP Londis in Late-Night Incident

Just before 11pm on Tuesday 8 October, trouble hit the Londis store at the BP petrol station on New Road. Two unknown men stormed in trying to nick booze and more.

Shop Staff Lock Doors as Robbery Turns Violent

One of the men grabbed some alcohol but was stopped cold by a quick-thinking staff member who locked the door to prevent their escape. Furious, the thug then threatened the worker and smashed the door before sneaking behind the till to slip out a rear exit.

Second Rogue Swipes a Drink

The other male made off with a can of drink during the chaos, adding to the havoc.

Police Hunt Two White Males in Their 30s

Officers have released images and descriptions of the suspects. Both are white, around 5ft 9in tall, average build, and in their 30s. One wore a black hooded jumper, a baseball cap marked ‘RSO’, and black trousers. The other had brown facial hair, a black puffer jacket with a fur-lined hood, blue jeans, white trainers, and a black baseball cap.
