Police were seen confiscating boxes of fireworks on Southall Broadway tonight after reports of reckless behaviour.
Youths and members of the public were allegedly setting off fireworks in the street as vehicles passed by, raising safety concerns.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police’s Territorial Support Group (TSG) were deployed following multiple complaints from residents about anti-social behaviour and dangerous fireworks use during Diwali celebrations.
