Police Hunt Key Witnesses After Michelle Sadio Murder in NW10
Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command are probing the fatal shooting of Michelle Sadio. They’ve released photos of people who may hold crucial information about a black Kia Niro linked to the attack.
Black Kia Niro Spotted Before Shooting
The suspects were driving a distinctive black Kia Niro with the number plate LA23 XRE and unique alloys. On Saturday, 14 December, the vehicle was seen in NW10’s Gifford Road before shots were fired. Michelle, one of three victims, died at the scene.
After the shooting, the car sped to Barnhill Road, where it was abandoned and set on fire.
Detectives Issue Urgent Appeal
Detective Chief Inspector Phil Clarke said: “Our investigation has moved quickly, but we need help to piece together what happened leading to Michelle’s murder. We have images of people speaking to the Kia Niro’s occupants on Church Road at 8:50pm on 14 December.
“If you are one of those pictured in the white Mercedes or nearby, or recognise anyone, please come forward. Did you hear or see anything before or after the shooting that could help our investigation?
I want to stress that being pictured doesn’t imply wrongdoing. Even if you don’t live locally, you might hold important information.”
Tragic Scene at Church Wake
Police were called around 9:15pm on 14 December following reports of the shooting outside a church where Michelle and others were attending a wake. Emergency services rushed to the scene but sadly, Michelle, aged 44 and mother of two, was declared dead.
Two men also suffered injuries. One remains critically ill in hospital, while the other’s condition is stable.
