Horror Scene Unfolds Late Wednesday
Police rushed to a disturbance call at 11.30pm on Wednesday, 22 January, at an address on Waverley Avenue, Chingford, E4. Officers discovered a woman in her 60s with serious head injuries. Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Man in His 20s Nabbed
A man, believed to be in his 20s, was arrested at the property and taken to a north London police station. Officers say the victim and suspect were known to each other. The investigation into the full circumstances continues.
Police Seek Witnesses
