Drivers Urged to Avoid the Area

Highways England confirmed the closure extends between Morleys Roundabout (A225 near Sevenoaks) and the A26 near Tonbridge due to the collision.

Traffic is being diverted via a complex route involving the B245, local Kent council roads, and the A26. Drivers should follow the hollow circle diversion signs and expect significant delays.

  • At Morleys Roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the B245 (London Road).
  • At the A227 T-junction, follow local diversion through Yardley Park Road.
  • Turn right onto A26 and rejoin A21 at Vauxhall Lane.

Ongoing Investigation

Kent Police and the fire service remain on site managing the incident and assessing the cause of the crash. No official update on casualties has been released yet.

Motorists are advised to plan alternative routes and stay clear of the area until further notice.
