Shock As Serving PCSO Found Dead Near Dover

Kent Police are hunting witnesses after the death of a 53-year-old woman near Dover. The victim has been named as PCSO Julia James, a serving officer with Kent Police.

Police Respond to Suspicious Death

Officers were called just after 4pm on Tuesday 27 April to Akholt Wood, Aylesham Road, where Julia’s body was discovered. Her death is being treated as suspicious, but no arrests have been made yet. Detectives from Kent’s Serious Crime Directorate are now leading the investigation.

Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

Authorities want to speak to anyone who was in the area on Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 April. They’re especially keen to hear from regular visitors or drivers who may have dashcam footage.

“People in Snowdown will see more police patrols. We urge anyone who saw something suspicious to come forward. Stay alert until we establish the full details.”
