Six Nabbed in Ashford Drugs Bust After Police Dog Sniffs Out Stash

Police cracked down on suspected drug dealing in Repton Park, Ashford, last Friday evening. Officers on patrol stopped two Londoners near Lancaster Way just after 5pm following reports of drugs being sold in the area.

Class A Drugs and Phones Seized in Spot Check

The 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply after officers found wraps of class A drugs. A 34-year-old woman was also taken into custody for conspiracy to supply class A drugs. Police confiscated two mobile phones during the stop.

Police Dog Roxy Uncovers Bigger Stash in Ashford House Raid

Later that night, at around 10.30pm, officers raided a property on Sir Bernard Paget Avenue. Ashford’s Community Policing Team was joined by Kent Police dog Roxy, who sniffed out drugs hidden beneath a mattress.

  • Two more cellphones

Four more suspects inside — a 33-year-old woman and three men aged 22 and 27 — were arrested on drug-related charges.

All Six Released on Bail as Probe Continues

All six individuals have since been released on police bail. Kent Police continue their investigations into the operation.
