Night Out Turns Nightmare: Woman Assaulted After Tunbridge Wells Pub Crawl

Attack Follows Late-Night Drink

In the early hours of Thursday, 17 February 2022, a woman was allegedly assaulted after a night out in Tunbridge Wells. The victim and a friend started their evening at a central pub on Mount Pleasant around 10.50pm on Wednesday, 16 February.

Shortly after midnight, the pair left with three men they had met at the pub. They were later joined by an unknown woman before getting into a taxi at Tunbridge Wells train station.

Taxi Ride Ends at Premier Inn — Horror Unfolds

The victim’s friend was dropped off home, while the others headed to a Premier Inn on Pembury Road, Tonbridge. It’s alleged the woman was assaulted in one of the hotel rooms.

Four men have been arrested in connection with the case and are currently on bail while investigations continue.

Police Search for Mysterious Woman

Detective Constable Paul Williams revealed police are keen to speak to a woman who was in the taxi and hotel room. “We’re looking to identify the unknown woman, described as mid to late 20s, about 5ft 5in tall with black hair,” he said.
