Tragic M25 Crash: 19-Year-Old Woman Killed, Two Arrested
Deadly Collision on M25 Near Enfield
Police were called at 6.42pm on Thursday, 6 October, following a collision involving an HGV, a BMW, and a black Vauxhall Mokka. The crash happened on the clockwise M25 between junctions 24 and 25 near Enfield.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, including the London Ambulance Service, London’s Air Ambulance, and the Fire Brigade.
One Dead, One Critical
Tragically, a 19-year-old woman inside one of the cars was pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed. Another woman travelling in the Vauxhall was taken to an east London hospital and remains in a life-threatening condition.
Two Drivers Arrested Over Crash
The HGV driver was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. The BMW driver was also arrested, suspected of causing death by careless driving while over the legal alcohol limit. Both were taken into custody and later released on bail.
Investigation Underway – Police Seek Witnesses
The Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is leading the inquiry. Police are urging anyone with witness information or dashcam footage to contact them on 101 or tweet @MetCC quoting CAD 6586/06Oct.
