  • He trained at the Infantry Training Centre, Catterick, and topped his Pre-Parachute Selection Course as ‘P Company Champion’.
  • Hooley saw active service in Afghanistan, Africa, and Eastern Europe.
  • He earned distinctions on key promotion courses and was set for promotion to Corporal in January 2026.
  • Trusted with Corporal-level duties on his latest deployment, he was an exceptional junior leader.
