Random Attack Shocks Cornmarket Evening Stroll

Between 8.45pm and 9pm on December 2, a man in his 60s was brutally assaulted while walking through The Cornmarket. The victim fell to the ground and suffered a head injury in what police are calling a random attack.

Suspect on the Loose

Officers describe the attacker as a white man in his 30s, stocky with a short stubbly beard. He may have been wearing a jacket.
