Kent Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault at a Sittingbourne pub on Saturday 27 June 2026. The incident occurred at around 10.20pm on West Street, where a man in his 20s was punched in the face and taken to hospital for treatment before being discharged.
Man Injured At Pub
The victim sustained facial injuries after the alleged assault inside the pub. Emergency services attended the scene promptly following reports from the public.
Suspect Arrested And Released
A 23-year-old man was arrested shortly after the incident in connection with the assault but has since been released without charge as enquiries continue.
CCTV Image Released
Investigators have now released a CCTV image showing a man they believe may have information crucial to the case and are urging the public to help identify him.
