Winchester Volunteers Feasted and Feted for Charity Efforts
Volunteers, staff, and trustees of Friends of the Family gathered for their annual thank you lunch on 28 January at Côte Brasserie in Winchester. The event celebrates the dedication of volunteers supporting local families in need.
Heartfelt Support for Kids in Crisis
These volunteers work with the charity’s 5s to 13s Project, which has championed children and families across Winchester for nearly eight years. Each week, volunteers spend two hours befriending a child, offering vital practical and emotional support during tough times.
Gratitude Served on a Plate
The annual lunch isn’t just about food. It’s a special chance for volunteers to connect and for Friends of the Family to show deep appreciation for their tireless work.
“Our annual thank you lunch is a lovely opportunity for volunteers to meet each other and for us to show them how much we appreciate their hard work,” said a charity spokesperson.
