A man has been locked up for manslaughter after stabbing his housemate to death. Amritpal Singh was sentenced to 15 years today, Wednesday 15 April, at Leicester Crown Court.

Tragic Death of Amit Kumar
The victim, 32-year-old Amit Kumar, was stabbed in the early hours of 5 October 2025. The attack happened at the Sawley Street home they shared with two other housemates in Leicester.
