Woman Dies After Stabbing in South East London Flat

Police and paramedics were called to a block of flats in Ravine Grove, SE18, just after 2am on Sunday, 4 April. They found a woman with serious stab wounds.

Despite desperate efforts by London Ambulance Service, the woman died about an hour later at the scene.

Man, 39, Arrested for Murder

A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder at the scene. He remains in custody at a south London police station as detectives continue their investigation.

Investigation Ongoing, Police Appeal for Witnesses

Police cordons are still in place at the location. Officers are working to identify the victim and piece together what happened.

A post-mortem will be arranged soon to confirm the victim’s identity and cause of death.
