Man Stabbed in Croydon: Police Launch Investigation
Police rushed to North End, Croydon, on Friday evening after reports of a stabbing at 6.45pm. Officers arrived alongside London Ambulance Service (LAS) paramedics to find a 27-year-old man suffering from stab wounds.
He was treated at the scene before being rushed to hospital. Thankfully, his injuries are not life-threatening.
Met Detectives Hunt for Stabbing Suspect
The Met’s South Area CID are now leading the investigation. No arrests have been made yet, as detectives work to piece together what happened and identify the attacker.
London Ambulance Service Responds
A spokesperson for LAS confirmed:
“We were called at 6.41pm on 8 December to reports of a stabbing in North End, Croydon. We sent an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, and an incident response officer.
“We treated the patient at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
