Police Hunt Violent Store Attacker in Bournemouth

Dorset Police are on the lookout for a woman involved in a shocking assault and racially aggravated public order offence at a Bournemouth store. The ugly incident unfolded around 12:35pm on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at the Sovereign Centre in Boscombe.

Woman Launches Brutal Attack on Staff

According to reports, the woman became aggressive while trying to return items. She unleashed a violent barrage on a male staff member, punching him repeatedly in the face and neck. The attacker didn’t stop there – she also kicked the till and ripped items from clothing rails. Disturbingly, she hurled racial abuse at the victim during the rampage.

Police Seek Public’s Help to ID Suspect

Dorset Police’s Community Support Investigator Rachael Buller said: “We take reports of violence toward retail staff and hate crimes very seriously, and we are conducting a thorough investigation into this matter. We are now able to issue an image of the woman we are seeking to identify as part of our enquiries.”
