Two Arrested After Fatal Crash in Birmingham
West Midlands Police have arrested two men following a deadly collision in Ward End, Birmingham. A man in his 20s was killed after a crash at the junction of Ward End Road and Drews Lane around 6pm on May 6.
Black Honda Civic at Centre of Deadly Smash
Emergency services rushed to the scene where a black Honda Civic had collided with another vehicle. Despite frantic medical efforts, the young driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Our thoughts are with his family and friends, and we’ll be doing all we can to support them during this terrible time,” said West Midlands Police.
Two 22-Year-Olds Held on Dangerous Driving Charges
Others involved sustained injuries but none were life-threatening. Police have arrested two 22-year-old men on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. One suspect remains in police custody, while the other is receiving hospital treatment and will be questioned later.
