Manhunt On for Michael’s Killer as Second Suspect Still At Large
Detectives are hunting Ryan Igbinovia, 26, in connection with the brutal stabbing murder of Michael on Henniker Road, East London, back in August 2021.
This plea comes just a day after another man, Christopher Owens-Wright, 23, was sentenced to life with a minimum 27 years behind bars for the murder and a savage assault on Michael’s friend.
Police Slash Out for Help to Nab Fugitive
Ryan Igbinovia remains on the run. Officers believe he has links to Stratford, southeast London, and Birmingham but have yet to locate him.
“Michael’s family have seen one person pay the price, but justice demands Ryan Igbinovia faces the courts too,” said Det Chief Insp Kelly Allen of the Met’s Specialist Crime Command.
“I am certain someone knows where he’s hiding. There’s a substantial reward of up to £10,000 for information leading to his arrest. Please don’t protect him—Michael’s family deserve closure.”
Family’s Heartbreak and Plea
“Two men are responsible for our son’s death and for stabbing his friend, who luckily survived,” said Michael’s father.
“One man is behind bars but the other still walks free. It is unbearable knowing the person who hunted our son with a knife could strike again. Please help police find him so justice can be served.”
