Five Teens Arrested After Brutal Stabbing at Nottingham Flat Party
Five teenagers have been arrested following a violent stabbing at a flat party in Nottingham that left a 17-year-old boy seriously injured.
Late-Night Attack Shakes Nottingham
Emergency crews rushed to Hounds Gate shortly after 11:40pm on Friday, 28 February. They found the teenage victim with serious but non-life-threatening stab wounds. Two others—a 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl—also suffered injuries during the chaotic scene.
Police Launch Intense Investigation
Nottinghamshire Police confirmed an 18-year-old man and four 17-year-old boys are now in custody. Officers are piecing together the events leading up to the attack, aiming to uncover what triggered the violence.
Detectives Urge Witnesses to Speak Out
Detective Inspector Chris Berryman pleaded for witnesses to come forward:
“We believe this incident happened during a party at a flat, and we are working to understand the moments before, during, and after what happened.
We particularly want to hear from anyone who was inside the flat or saw people running from the scene shortly afterwards.
Drivers with dashcam footage who witnessed any part of this disturbance are also urged to get in touch.”
Increased Police Presence to Reassure Nottingham Residents
Superintendent Kathryn Craner assured the public that police are keeping an open mind about any links to other violent incidents in the city. However, she stressed there is no current evidence connecting this stabbing to previous attacks.
“We will continue to maintain a high and visible presence in the city to provide reassurance and speak with anyone who has concerns.”

Police cordons remain at key spots including Hounds Gate, Maid Marian Way, Standard Hill, and Lenton Road. Forensic teams are meticulously investigating the scenes to gather vital evidence.
