A terrifying house fire ripped through a property on St. Andrews Road, Ramsgate, last Sunday evening (October 27). The alarm was raised at 5:53 p.m., triggering a rapid response from Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS).
Firefighters Battle Flames with Full Force
Two fire engines roared onto the scene as brave firefighters donned full protective gear, including breathing apparatus. They unleashed high-pressure hose reel jets to wrestle the blaze under control. The fire was fully stamped out by 7:25 p.m.
One Suffered Smoke Inhalation, Fire Cause Unknown
Paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) treated one person for smoke inhalation. Thankfully, no other injuries were reported. Meanwhile, KFRS’s Volunteer Response Team was on hand to support the operation. The cause of the fire remains a mystery.
