Vandals Target War Memorial Village Benches in Shelton Lock

Derbyshire Police are hunting culprits after several historic benches at the War Memorial Village in Shelton Lock were defaced with graffiti.

Damage Estimated Over £300

The vandalism happened between Saturday 1 June and Friday 14 June. Repair costs are expected to soar above £300, officials said.

Beloved Community Landmark Vandalised

The benches hold historical value and are considered precious by the local community, making the attack all the more upsetting.
