Tragic Crash: Gosport Man Killed in Basingstoke Collision
Police have named the man who died in a serious road crash in Basingstoke. Duncan Appleby, 38, from Coronado Road, lost his life after a collision between his Ford Transit van and a lorry.
Deadly Smash at Busy Junction
The crash happened at around 4.10pm on Thursday, September 29, at the junction of the A30 and A33. Duncan was rushed to hospital but died the next day from his injuries.
Passenger and Lorry Crew Injured
- Duncan’s passenger, a 30-year-old man, remains seriously injured in hospital, but his condition is not life-threatening.
- The three occupants of the lorry suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
Police Seek Witnesses
