Man, 62, Dies After Mysterious Collision in London

Just after midnight on Sunday, a passerby found a 62-year-old man injured near the junction of St Andrews Close and Culver Grove. Emergency crews rushed to the scene, but despite their efforts, the man was pronounced dead shortly before 1 a.m.

Police Hunt Hit-and-Run Driver

Detective Sergeant Rebecca Collens from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit revealed no official reports of a road traffic collision in the area. However, the victim’s injuries strongly suggest he was hit by a vehicle.

“We’re keeping an open mind about whether this man was struck by a driver who didn’t see him or if the motorist fled deliberately,” said DS Collens. “We urge anyone who was walking or driving here around midnight to come forward. Check your dash cam footage and help us piece this together.”

Family Left Devastated, Police Appeal for Information

The man’s family is devastated and supported by specialist officers. Police appeal to anyone with information to contact Crimestoppers anonymously at 0800 555 111 or 020 8246 9820.
