Nottingham Woman Sought After Shocking Early Morning Assault in Old Market Square
Between 4 a.m. and 4.30 a.m. on June 4, 2022, a 25-year-old woman was brutally punched in the face in Nottingham’s busy Old Market Square, suffering facial injuries and broken glasses.
Victim Left Bruised After Late-Night Attack
The victim’s friends were caught up in the fracas too but walked away with only minor injuries. The violent assault has left the woman shaken and visibly bruised.
Police Hunt Key Witness in Nottingham City Centre
Officers have released an image of a woman they believe can shed light on what happened. “This was an upsetting incident for the victim, who was left with bruises to her face,” said PC Phoebe Lau of Nottinghamshire Police.
Following a sweep of CCTV from shops and nearby venues, police are urging anyone who knows the woman pictured or who has information to come forward.
