Slough Carjacking Shocker: Police Hunt Witnesses
Police are on the lookout for witnesses after a daring carjacking in Slough.
Victim Forced Out of Car in Broad Daylight
The incident happened at around 10.30am on Saturday, 5 September, in Arborfield Close. A man in his twenties was sitting in his car when another man suddenly forced him out and jumped behind the wheel.
Heroic Bystanders Block Thief’s Escape
The thief tried to drive the stolen car towards Windsor Road but public-spirited locals quickly blocked his path. Cornered, he abandoned the vehicle and fled by running through a nearby property and onto Windsor Road.
Police Appeal for Information
“I am appealing for witnesses to this incident to please come forward,” said Detective Constable Conor Campbell of Slough police station. “Thanks to those who helped at the time, but if you haven’t spoken to officers yet, please get in touch.”

Suspect Arrested and Released Under Investigation
A 42-year-old man from Amersham was arrested in connection with the robbery but has since been released under investigation as police continue their enquiries.
