Two Teens Arrested After Kennington Park Stabbing
Two young males, aged 17 and 18, were arrested yesterday afternoon after a stabbing near Kennington Park on Cooks Road, London. The attack happened around 4:30 PM on July 26 and sparked an immediate response from the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service.
Victims Hospitalised but Injuries Not Life-Threatening
Emergency teams found both victims with stab wounds and rushed them to hospital. Thankfully, their injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Met Police Launch Investigation
The Met say the stabbing followed a fight that broke out on Cooks Road. CID officers from Southwark and Lambeth are now leading the probe. A police spokesperson said:
“Officers attended along with ambulance colleagues. Two males were taken to hospital suffering stab injuries. Neither is in a life-threatening condition. Both have been arrested. Enquiries continue to establish the circumstances.”
