Friend ‘Wrongly Arrested’ in NW London Stabbing Horror
A tragic stabbing on Harrow Road in North West London has left a 21-year-old dead in the early hours of Sunday, October 30. In a bizarre twist, a friend of the victim, aged 25, was ‘accidentally arrested’ while desperately trying to save him, police confirmed.
Chaos Outside Nightspot
The stabbing unfolded just before 2am after a fight outside the Aura Bar, between Harrow and Wembley. The victim, who had been at a party, suffered multiple knife wounds. Emergency crews performed CPR for a prolonged period, but sadly he died at the scene.
An eyewitness living nearby described paramedics as “performing CPR for a long time before finally calling time.” She also recalled a “hysterical” woman screaming, “They murdered him,” amid the chaos.
Two Men Arrested – One Released
Police arrested two men on suspicion of murder: a 33-year-old, who remains in custody, and the 25-year-old friend, who was later released without charge. Speaking at the scene, the friend’s mother said her son was trying to help his injured mate when he was mistakenly detained.
“My son was only trying to save his friend,” she said. “He was arrested by accident and has now been released.”
Investigation Underway
A crime scene remains in place on Harrow Road as detectives and forensic teams continue their probe. The victim’s identity hasn’t been formally announced. Specialists are supporting the family, and police are urging anyone with info to come forward.
