Broadstairs Brawl: Four Injured in Beachside Melee
Kent Police are hunting witnesses after a nasty fight left four men battered in Broadstairs on Sunday afternoon.
Chaos Breaks Out Near Viking Bay
At 3.37pm on 6 May, officers were called to Harbour Street following reports of a disturbance. A group got into a violent scrap on the beach by Viking Bay, before scattering into nearby streets.
Four Men Attacked, Injuries Reported
Police found a man in his 20s with facial injuries, who was taken to hospital as a precaution. Further enquiries revealed three more men had been assaulted, including a 50-year-old who suffered cuts and bruises to his face.
Two Arrested, Police Appeal for Witnesses
Two Rochester men, both 18, were arrested—one for affray, the other for assault. They’ve been released on bail until 18 May while investigations continue.
