Tributes Pour In for Murdered Southampton Man Perry Cardy
Heartbreak in Southampton after beloved local Perry Cardy, 52, was fatally attacked at the Bittern Pub in the early hours of Saturday. Friends and family are devastated, paying emotional tribute to the well-known and liked community figure.

Lucy Powell, among those grieving, said: “RIP uncle Perry, thank you for all the memories. You were such an amazing, funny, and loved man! I can’t believe some lowlife has taken you from us!”
She added, “We love you. Time for you now to be with Nanny. I’ll look after mum for you, knowing how much you cared for her.”

Police Seek Witnesses to Fatal Bittern Pub Attack
Hampshire Police are hunting those responsible following the brutal assault on Perry Cardy at the Bittern Pub, Thornhill Park Road.
Perry was attacked around 9.50 pm on Friday night and sadly died the next morning at Southampton General Hospital from his injuries.
