Man Arrested After Teen Girl Sexually Assaulted in Kent Park
Kent Police sprang into action at 4.37pm on Wednesday 7 December 2022 after a teenage girl reported a sexual assault in Dane Park.
Officers quickly arrived on the scene and arrested a man connected to the shocking incident.
Steven Palmer Charged Over Sexual Assault
Steven Palmer, 44, from Sussex Avenue, Margate, faces serious charges. He has been charged with one count of sexual assault by touching and one count of assault.
Palmer appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Friday 9 December and was remanded in custody. He is set to face trial at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 9 January 2023.
