A Plymouth man has been locked up for 11 years after launching vicious attacks on two women and two children in separate homes across the city.
Violent Rampage Across Plymouth
Brandon Wyatt, 22, stormed into homes in North Prospect and Plympton on the same day, unleashing a terrifying assault. One child suffered facial fractures, while one woman was left with serious head injuries.
Guilty Plea and Tough Sentencing
Wyatt appeared at Plymouth Crown Court on Wednesday, 15 April. He pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm with intent, grievous bodily harm, and two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. The court sentenced him to 11 years in prison, plus an additional three years on licence. A 20-year restraining order was also imposed to protect the victims.
Details of the Attacks
- On 10 January 2025, Wyatt burst into a North Prospect home, shouting and screaming.
- He grabbed a woman by the hair, repeatedly punched and kicked her, then attacked her with a wrench, causing deep cuts to her head and hands.
- Wyatt then took a taxi to Plympton but jumped out without paying the fare.
- At the second address, he smashed down a rear door with a plant pot to break in.
- Inside, he punched a woman and kicked two children in the face. One child suffered fractures, while the other child and the woman had swelling and bruising.
- Police tracked Wyatt down with the assistance of a helicopter and arrested him on Derriford Road.
