Man Found Injured in Early Morning Assault in Gillingham

Kent Police are hunting witnesses after a man was found injured and unconscious on Canterbury Street, Gillingham.

Injury Not Life-Threatening

The alarm was raised just before 6am on 12 October 2020. Emergency services rushed to the scene where the man was discovered with head injuries. He was quickly taken to a local hospital and has since been released. Thankfully, his injuries are not life-threatening.

Suspect Arrested, Now on Bail

Police believe the attack happened around 3am. A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of assault and has been bailed until 4 November as investigations continue.
